-
Our consultants understand that transitions are challenging. We are skilled in working with board members and staff to guide them positively through the change process.
-
We help an organization view the change as an opportunity to find a new leader who can meet the organization's current needs and help guide the organization to an improved future version.
-
We use the same process as executive search firms, at a significantly reduced fee.
Often nonprofit leaders think the only solution to the emergence of new tasks is finding a new employee through a for-profit search firm or adding responsibilities to already fully utilized staff members. For-profit search firms' fees are prohibitively expensive for all but the largest nonprofit organizations. The Executive Service Corps has consistently helped nonprofit organizations secure exceptional staff for a fraction of the cost.
The facilitated search process takes between 3 and 6 months. The Executive Service Corps consultants will help create a position description, post the opportunity on nonprofit websites, review applications, complete telephone screenings, and prepare the Board search committee to review finalist candidates.
Once a new employee is selected, the Executive Service Corps can work with the nonprofit leadership and/or Board of Directors to develop a first-year performance plan. Many nonprofit clients also take advantage of the Executive Service Corps’ extraordinary executive coaching services to support the new employee during their first six months in the new position.
